I'm afraid I will not live up to your expectations, as I am familiar with the production of the eponymous opera in 2011 from the festival in Salzburg. Of course, the selection of soloists of the Salzburg production and the accompaniment of the Freiburger Barockorchester orchestra with conductor IVOR BOLTON exceeded all expectations. As for the Royal Opera House production, Julia Bullock is definitely more stylish and stage-oriented when compared to Kritina Schäfer. Of course, director Katie Mitchell is the diamante decorating this production, in fact, this is what I expected, since I am familiar with her previous stage work. With all my criticism, I will rate your product with 5 stars, congratulations.
